Comment: After adding her trust buff, Gravel has significantly higher DEF and HP than its 5 star archetypes, making her a potential defensive fast-deploy unit.

Comment: A decent talent for Gravel’s own usage. The upgrade in E2 is not exactly significant in real battle. There are limited operators with DP Cost lower than 10. Still, it may do well if the team mainly run on specialist combo (Gravel, Red and Waai Fu together). Other operators who may find such buff useful include Sora, and some 4 stars Vanguards like Myrtle and Vigna. Take note that the talent does not affect summons (Mayer’s otter for example).

Comment: Gravel receives exceptionally good benefits from her potential upgrades. The cost and redeployment cooldown reduction further push her limits as a fast redeployment unit. At her best, she only require 5 DP Cost and can be redeployed in 16 seconds.

Comment: Gravel’s E1 RIIC Skill is just too sweet to be missed. She has one of the best factory skill in game, another being Haze. Pair them together and you’ll see precious metal raining all over you.

Comment: Gravel’s initial skill which is exceptionally helpful when used to tank on physical damaging enemies. From personal experience, she was able to tank 2 hits from 3-8 boss despite being base level 1 just with this skill itself.

Comment: This skill balances Gravel’s survival against both physical and magical enemies. Useful when you need a diversion to keep other operators alive. Specialization is not necessary but can definitely prolong her survival in some situations.
As a defensive fast-deploy unit, Gravel is best used as a tool in diverting threat from enemies in various situations. This include, bombing drones, mages, or even boss attacks. She can also act as a very temporary tank when player is earning time to respawn any dead operators.
Either case, player should not treat Gravel as a complete downgraded Red. Red is an offensive operator meant for assassinating, while Gravel can hardly do that. Yet, Gravel can certainly survive way longer than Red in terms of holding of damages. They have very different role despite both being a fast-deploy unit.
Gravel is not a rare operator. Any player who recruit long enough in game would realize how she plagues ‘Fast Deploy’ tag almost 99.9% of the time. This does not mean she is bad, because she do have her unique usage in holding off foes. Again, it is unfair if player attempt to compare her to Red, considering they have different roles. Even if the player has no need for Gravel, E1 her is almost necessary for her RIIC skill.
