Almost a sequel to Top 3 6★ during Reroll at a Glance, this article will cover the remaining 6★ characters currently in CN version. As such, there will be no further mention of Exusiai, Silverash, Eyjafjalla, and Ifrit here. You can read about them in the link I mentioned earlier.
Before I get started, I will need to remind everyone that all 6★ characters are strong in their respective way. Their differences simply lies on type, roles, usage, and the formation integration with other characters (teamwork). The purpose of the article is to briefly introduce the current 6★ characters and their general performance in the present game environment to new players.
Chen used to unpopular during her early release, but her 2nd skill proved to be useful in later events.
Her 2nd skill deals mixed damage, allowing her to tackle both high defense or magic defense enemies at the same time. This leads her to be extremely versatile in different situations.
Passive wise, she is able to recover SP of her allies. Not to be confused with typical SP recovery (recover per second), she recovers SP of allies that cannot be recovered normally (has to attack and be attacked).
The pinnacle of Healing-Type Defender. Saria is able to block 3 enemies, heal and recover ally’s SP at the same time.
Her 2nd skill is by far the widest aoe heal in game, while her 1st skill helps in keeping critically wounded allies alive. Such versatility made her invaluable in various high difficulty stages.
Then again, everyone from Rhine Lab is pretty strong so far (hint hint).
Angelina had almost similar situation with Ch’en, whose strength is only approved later on through her 3rd skill during events.
Her 3rd skill is suitable for various team formation, as it debuffs by reducing her enemies’ level. Alternatively, her 2nd skill made her one of the fastest attacker in game.
Not exactly recommended to be trained early on though.
The strongest Regen-Type Offensive Vanguard in game. She doesn’t only start off with high stats, but also gets stronger as she unlocks more skills.
Her 2nd skill is good in handling large amount of enemies, and therefore highly favored. Her least favored 3rd skill replaces cost recovery and attack speed for stun effect and extremely high attack.
The only problem about Siege is her high cost in deployment. This makes it slightly harder to have her around in fast maps.
PS: Same voice actor as Saber
Hoshiguma used to be one of most used character in game due to her extremely high HP and defense, making her invaluable during early and mid-game. Her usage only declined later on when players require a more versatile tank around.
Regardless, she is still used by many players who had trouble keeping alive when facing elite enemies.
Shining is currently the only two 6★ Medic, and the sole defense buff character in game. During early game, she can pretty much out-heal any damage done by the enemies.
Her appearance greatly declined after the release of Chapter 5. However, she remains a great asset for Tower (无人危楼). She is also very suitable for stages which require high defense.
Nightingale is one of the only two 6★ Medic in game. She is almost a direct opposite of Shining by being the sole magic defense buff character.
Her usage greatly improved after the release of Chapter 5. She can be easily assigned to adapt most team formation, even on the situation where you require two aoe healer.
The regrettable part though, is perhaps player will still prefer Ptilopsis when only one aoe healer is required in the map.
Skadi is the strongest Solo-Type Guard you can find currently. She can perform very well in any task expected from her category, like soloing red mages and whatnot.
The only slight problem is her high cost (due to her rarity) and the lack of strong enemy requiring her appearance. As such, she is usually replaced by the cheaper cost (and weaker) Melantha.
Hellagur is your typical 6★ when it comes to stats and usage. His employment has been average until the emergence of Contract. At his best, his 2nd skill allows him to have a seat in any challenging stages.
It should be noted that he cannot be normally healed by skills, though it is still possible to heal him through passive regeneration from Perfumer, Angelina and so on.
Schwarz is categorized as a Slow-Type Sniper though not exactly a direct upgrade of Provence. Despite her good stats, there just aren’t many maps for her kind to shine.
Still, she is a frequent in many players’ formation in Contract as a direct counter for enemies like red katana. Alternatively, she also has the highest HP and Defense in game. which in return helps in her survivability.
Magallan started off badly as a meme joke, though quickly proven her prowess in Contract. Her 1st and 2nd Skill has different uses and can be assigned accordingly to fit different formation needs.
In the situation of pure damaging, Magallan with maximum drone can easily out damage Angelina as a 6★ Supporter. Still, there is little chance to really exploit her ability in the current meta.
Similar to Angelina, she only shines at Elite 2 and is not suitable for new players.
